Feeding My Ducks Glossary

  • Duck Feeding - Feeding your ducks is an integral menchanic to keep your ducks happy and grow.
  • Farming - Farming the land is a great way to unlock new types of food and keep your ducks happy. Click on crops whenever they get dehydrated and wait till they become fully grown and ready to be harvested. Crops are used for gaining the EARTH attribute to your Ducks.
  • Fishing - Fish the pond for unlocking different kinds of fish for your ducks to feast on. Fish will randomly find their way into the pond, click on their tails to reel them to shore. Fish are used for gaining the WATER attribute to your Ducks.
  • Critter Catching - Grabbing critters from the ground will ensure a new way to unlock more food items for your ducks. Click on critters scurrying across your ranch before they run too far. Critters are used for gaining the FIRE attribute to your Ducks.
  • Duck Evolution - Evolving your ducks is a key component for gaining strength and competing in higher levels of competition.
  • Duck Breeding - Duck breeding can be accessed through feeding a duck a Star Fruit for a chance to become fertile. If a duck creates an egg it will hatch into a baby duck to increase the sie of the heard. Duck Capacity is based on the level of the Ranch.
  • Ranch Contests - Ranch Contests are fun mini-games used to prove the strength of your flock. Win prizes and set highscores upon competing against other rivaling ranches and their ducks.
  • Beginner Cup — 0 Star
  • Novice — 1 Star
  • Intermediate — 2 Star
  • Advanced — 3 Star
  • Master Cup — Prized Ducks

Food is used to give to ducks to feed them, increases stats, changes elemental status, changes mood, fatigue, etc.

Each Tier is added with Ranch Upgrades

Tier 1 Food (Common)

  • Hearty Shroom Hearty Shroom - Lowers Hunger & Fatigue & Mood
  • Stale Bread Stale Bread - Used To Reduce Elemental Build Up
  • Leaping Koi (fish) Leaping Koi - Turns a Duck Into a Prized Duck

(Used for Master Tier Contests)

Attribute Stats are used in contests when competing against other ducks, the higher your duck’s stats, the better equipped they will be to compete in contests in varied ways.|

  • VIT - Vitality
  • POW - Power
  • SPD - Speed
  • INT - Intelligence
  • CHM - Charm

Elemental stats come from evolving your ducks through their growth, these are gained through the food your ducks eat.

  • Neutral Element - No Benefits
  • Earth Element - Mood decreases slower
  • Fire Element - Fatigue rises quicker, hunger drops quicker
  • Water Element - Fatigue rises slower, hunger drops slower

Leveling Up occurs from eating food (different food types will vary xp gain)

  • Duck Max Level: 9
  • Duck Evolution can occur when a Duck reaches max level. Evolution
  • After evolving a Duck will revert back to level 1 followed by a Star based on their current Evolution line.
  • Evolution Line: Base, 1 Star, 2 Star, 3 Star, Golden Stars for Prized Ducks

1. Tree Cutting

Log 'n' Chop

  • Overview: Ducks compete in a wood-chopping challenge, rushing to cut through logs as quickly as possible.
  • Gameplay: Players mash button presses of which ever pops on screen to help their duck swing an axe with precision and rhythm. Faster and stronger ducks cut through logs more efficiently.
  • Vitality - Duration before a Break
  • Power - How Hard a Duck hits Tree
  • Speed - Pecking Speed
  • Intelligence - Critical Chance
  • Charm - Special Log Chance

2. Hurdle Racing

Feather Dash

  • Overview: A fast-paced obstacle course where ducks race across a track filled with hurdles.
  • Gameplay: Ducks must time their jumps to avoid tripping. Mix of Stats to create opportunity for all ducks through swimming, flying, and running.
  • Vitality - How much Stamina each Duck has for the race (must be used to jump hurdles while running)
  • Power - Attack the Moutain Egg at end of every race, crack to win the race
  • Speed - How Fast a Duck Runs
  • Intelligence - How Fast a Duck Flies
  • Charm - How Fast a Duck Swims

3. Sparring

Quack Fu

  • Overview: Ducks face off in playful sparring matches — not violent, just bouncy, slapstick combat.
  • Gameplay: Ducks push, bump, and body slam each other until one waddles out of bounds. Tap while duck is knocked down.
  • Vitality - Total Health
  • Power - Total Damage
  • Speed - Pecking Speed
  • Intelligence - Critical Chance
  • Charm - Evasion Chance

Survival stats will keep a duck from fleeing the ranch.

  • Mood is the most important stat, when a duck’s mood is fully depleted they will flee the ranch (indefinitely).
  • Hunger - Drops mainly through time and is gained back through eating food, cannot feed duck over 80% full. When Hunger is low Mood Decreases.
  • Fatigue - Drops after competing in mini-games is gained back slowly over time. When Fatigue is low Mood Decreases.
